The owner of Antique Autos is Peter Tompsett, a former police driving instructor, and secretary of the Bentley Drivers Club. He has also been a member of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiast Club for 30 years. All of the beautifully maintained Antique Autos wedding cars are from Peter's own personal collection of luxury and prestige vintage cars. As well as providing cars for weddings and special occasions in Wrexham, Shropshire and Cheshire, Antique Autos also provide cars to the TV and Film industry.

The Cars

1954 Bentley R Type


This particular car was originally commissioned for the Countess of Rosebery who owned it for many years before it went to the USA. In 1991 it returned to the UK and was fully restored and luxuriously trimmed in deep red leather and rich carpets.

1935 Rolls-Royce 20/25 Sports Limousine by Hooper


Built for a diamond merchant in Antwerp this impressive motor car has many interesting features. It was built by Royal Coachbuilders Hooper, to a unique design. It is a truly impressive carriage for any fortunate bride.

1934 Bentley 3.5 Litre Sports Saloon by Park Ward


This car entirely epitomises 1930s luxury and style. It was used in the film ‘Liam’ directed by the famous Stephen Frears. It has many special features including rare wood veneers and beautiful red hide seats.

1933 Vauxhall ‘light Six’ by Whittingham & Mitchel


This car is believed to be the only original example still running of this coach-built model. It features in ‘The Official History of Vauxhall Motors’. The car has made several appearances in the TV series of ‘Dick Barton’ and a ‘Miss Marple’ film.
